My practice is built on a collaboration with my patients. I will work with my patients to learn what is important to them and how best to achieve it, all while challenging them to continue making improvements in their daily lives.

I enjoy working in my yard; planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and a large vegetable garden is my main focus outside of the office. And when I’m not bent over picking weeds and watering, I enjoy walking with my dog, slowing down, and taking in the amazing natural world around us.

As a cancer survivor in my early 30s, I’ve experienced both sides of the exam table. I feel like that experience taught me lessons I never learned in a book, and those experiences help me better understand some of the emotions my patients are experiencing when faced with new and often anxiety provoking tests/diagnoses/treatments.
