Springfield Primary Care

Springfield Primary Care is a family practice with humble beginnings. In 1983, Edwin Shaw founded the practice in a trailer with a simple mission: to care for the people in his community. In 1987, the practice relocated to its current location in Akron, Ohio. In January 2016, Springfield Primary Care joined Pioneer Physicians Network to further strengthen our ability to serve the community with the highest quality care.

Our practice specializes in comprehensive primary care, including the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. We coordinate care across multiple settings, including specialists, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities, to ensure our patients receive seamless and continuous care.

We offer same day appointments and have a lab at the office.
