Practicing medicine in Minerva is the fulfillment of a childhood dream.  I have always wanted to be a doctor in a small town, living in a community of friends and families who are my patients.  I have attended to their physical, psychological, and spiritual health as a reflection of my calling and faith.

My training began at Mount Union College and continued at THE Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at Aultman Hospital.  As my professors in med school stated, this “lifetime of learning” continues with conferences, journals, and interaction with peers on new medicines, treatments, tests, and diagnoses.

All of this is to better serve this community and its families, diagnosing and treating health conditions while taking steps to prevent or modify the course of illnesses, and in this way improving not just the length but the quality of life.
