Gary Pinta MD is the former president and current Chief Financial Officer of Pioneer Physicians Network, located in Akron, Ohio. He is a full-time practicing internist. He has fully committed to practicing value-based care. Value-based care is a medical delivery system that rewards providers for keeping patients healthy instead of simply providing services.

Dr. Pinta graduated from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown OH in 1994. Subsequently, he trained in the Summa Health System Internal Medicine residency from 1994-1997.

Dr. Pinta has served as President of the Ohio Independent Collaborative, member of the Board of Directors of Western Reserve Hospital, VP of Quality at Western Reserve Hospital, member of the Board of Directors of Pioneer Physicians Network, member of agilon health Advisory Board, and member of the Board of Directors of the OIC medical malpractice captive insurance company.
