Dr. Jennifer Dy is a board-certified physician in internal medicine dedicated to advancing the health of her patients through prevention, education, and evidence-based care. Through a patient centered approach, she partners with patients from adolescence through end of life, supporting long-term well-being and informed decision making.

Dr. Dy completed her medical training at Akron City Hospital-Summa Health System in 2011, and is a dedicated member of the greater Akron community. She is an associate professor at NEOMED, and has trained internal medicine residents from both Akron City and Western Reserve Hospitals. She is also involved in the Women in White Coats mentorship program, and is passionate about community education and advocacy.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, travel, and spending time with her nieces and nephew.

Dr. Dy’s clinical interests include preventative care, public health, vaccination/immunization, cancer screenings, reproductive and sexual health, hormonal health, cardiovascular risk reduction, and the early detection and management of chronic conditions. She emphasizes the importance of personalized care, integrating evidence-based care with each patient’s unique goals and values for a collaborative health plan. She prioritizes creating a welcoming, respectful environment where patients feel heard and valued. She has a particular interest in supporting healthy aging and addressing the complex medical, functional and social needs of older adults with compassion and dignity. She finds great value in the long-term relationships she shares with her patients.
