My approach to care is both collaborative and preventative. As a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician, I work closely with patients to identify their lifestyle habits to help combat and manage their chronic diseases. We know that many chronic diseases stem from poor lifestyle choices. I find that spending time with patients and focusing on their habits and understanding their goals helps to create a plan that is individualized to that specific person. Medicine is not a one size fits all approach, and I work hard to identify a treatment plan that is best for the patient sitting in front of me.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family hiking trails nearby. We have a son and a greyhound that love going on adventures together. You can also find me leading walks through “Walk with a Doc” on Tuesdays during the warm months. Many of our current patients and others from the community love meeting up together to chat and walk together. I also enjoy gardening – fresh produce and flowers fill up my yard in the summer.
